Biography

Amal Muraywed is a professional ceramicist and senior lecturer, teaching ceramics at the FAAH department at AUB (American University of Beirut) since 2000.

Since 1990 A. Muraywed has exhibited her ceramics in more than ten solo shows and participated in many collective and international salons in Paris, Vallauris (France), Beirut, Damascus, Cairo and Dubai.

She has edited many articles about the history and contemporary ceramics and gave many lectures in symposiums and directed several ceramics workshops.

The ceramic pieces of Amal Muraywed are found in public and private collections all over the world.
